No easy way to get over it...but every day heals a little more of the wound.
If it's any comfort, I was in my first ever relationship which last 12 years. I thought I was the only one that ever went through that pain. On reflection, I know now and am grateful that it happened. Life has a strange way of opening up new paths!
Btw this is my first time joining a site of this sort, not sure what to expect from it.

Welcome SmileySuzie. You've found my first thread I posted over a month ago. I'm over the shock now but still down. I've been through it before but it don't get any easier with experience. In fact I'd say it gets worse when it happens a second time.
