IMO Knighthoods should NOT be given to MP's who have been seen to fiddle the books.

Sorry Steve while I admire his sporting ability and what he does for charity, I cannot help thinking that these footballers earn an obscene amount of money, plus the "Glittering" lifestyle thrust upon us by the media, just makes the vulnerable even more so, as they attempt to emulate their "Heros" a point being Jade Goody, grabbing her 15 mins of fame, trying so hard to be "Up there" with the Beckhams but in reality just being used as a puppet to make more money for those "working" her from behind.

No I agree 100% when you say about Footballers wages.. It's obscene! But I can't ever take issue with someone for accepting that sort of wage either as I'd snap someones hand off if they pffered me that sort of money.

Again I have no issue with Jade Goody grabbing her 15 minutes.. At the end of the day her children will be provided for a lot more comfortably than they would have been.

Only reason they aren't 'real people' like you or I is because they got the breaks in their chosen careers and grabbed them with two hands.. Their kids will never want for anything, nor will their kids, kids... Isn't that what we all strive for at the end of the day?

You make a very good point Steve, and one that in all fairness, I had overlooked, yes we all want. indeed strive to provide our children with the best we can, but having said that, money is not the be all and end all,
Love and care are needed far more and they cost nothing.

no its not, sorry but money cannot buy the smile on my sons face every morning or te fact that hes gained a new skill one that may have taken him months to prefect money cannot buy u love happiness or anything else come to think of it...

to me money is fools gold...something we all have but the truth is we can never buy th real useful things in life with it...health and happiness and most of all love and respect.

Il give my son all he needs in life to ensure he is happy within himself and who he is....i only hope people will juge him a good person by his actions not what is in his wallet....

sadly life ant like that and him being disabled he has more of a fight on his hands than anyone i know....

yes i do for one small reason...

they really arnt being brought up by their parents are they???? Nannys, or their families while their parents who fly around the world thinking they look good...er like no u muppet u dont...neither do i but i do have one advantage.....

To be fair though whenever you do see either of them in the papers or on the news nowadays 9 times out of 10 all three children are with them.

When I say they will never want for anything I mean financially.. They are already set up for life as are the kids that they will have..
