Not easy to pick a single comedian as a fave but I'd have to say Peter Kay..

Though the likes of Billy Connolly, Jack Dee, Lee Evans are all genius's..

A couple who are very very funny but not so well known are Russel Howard and Carl Barron, have a look for them on Youtube, you won't be disappointed.
