In view of your answer above I have further questions before I consider MY options which are wide tongue or boring professor

1. Are you an aspiring New labour ENGLISH politician waiting to challenge the Prime Minister ? yawn

2. Are there such RULES as one word each side confused
and if so
3. Who made them ? dunno

Regards
Mike grin

1. Um No. Where you even came up with this from my response only you would know. Not even Evil Knievel could make that leap. confused

2. That's the game. This is word association.

3. That's how the game is played. You reply with a word that you associate with the previous word.

Is that clear enough for you?

No No Mike. You still have my curiosity piqued. More so than ever.

Last word up was "Gobsmacked" to which you replied "Before I comment further is it permitted to ask politely if we are talking Metric or Imperial?"

Gobsmacked

Your word would be???

Metric side = ?

Imperial side = ?

BTW: I take your "whit" as meaning "wit" versus it's actually meaning of "least bit".

If any other meaning was intended then, Im sorry you feel that way.

BTW: I take your "whit" as meaning "wit" versus it's actually meaning of "least bit".

Totally incorrect - I was a bit deep for many I admit - professor

But the spelling is CORRECT and I meant exactly what I said.

Whit. is a standard abbreviation for a screw thread as
used in workshops (spoken) and written on parts drawings etc.

Ok, Im totally confused now. If you intended Whit = screw thread, then your sentence still doesn't make any sense to me.

"What a *Whit* she's got"

Do you have a word response for "Gobsmacked"??? If not, I'll just drop this other discussion and continue with the game.
