If you and I as taxpayers think our education system is not value for money and want a good belly laugh as this is humour - but sadly current events based and there is no title for political humour or Satire laugh

Take a look at this - See it right through please and

But in all fairness, with the exception of the loyalty to the President one at the end, the same could be done in any city the whole world over - lets face it, governments and the media dont exactly have a vested interest in getting the 'real' news out there - in fact, it would be an interesting experiment to run the same questions by people in the cities of the countries who actually take pride in getting facts out to the public, such as Norway.......

Trish - I am sceptical of your radical unproven conclusions - laugh BUT
I would have thought it would have already been in the syllbus as a genuine application to the wider recognition and even development of Social Sciences grin

Why not go for yer Masters and actually prove it - BUT - Before that
actually Do one off your own bat in Manchester for a day, base yours on similar questions asked of the random sample help of the American Public roll eyes
and ghet a colleague record it all on Video camera, as I would love to see YOUR results laugh

The British one is a bit of a fix up.. Notice how they only film in a little town and speak to either old people or really young kids..

I thought there were a few young women included but as you say I do not think its quite as wide as the yank one.

We will have to get Gillys film school buddies on the job in London I guess......... there was another one about a lottery card having to be withdrawn cos people didnt understand the rules - that was hilarious too but the point i was making is that this kind of stuff usually has two sides.......... really funny vid though laugh

I wish somebody did have the bottle to post it on the int forums - i almost put a link to it in the obama thread earlier but didnt fancy setting the cat amongst the pigeons grin
