THIS WEEKEND AND EVERY DAY OF OUR LIVES LETS ALL PUT ASIDE A FEW MOMENTS TO REMEMBER THE PEOPLE WHO SACRIFICED THEIR LIVES THAT WE MAY LIVE A BETTER AND MORE PEACEFUL ONE,LETS WEAR OUR POPPY WITH ENORMOUS PRIDE AND THANKS TO ALL THE FALLEN BOTH PAST AND PRESENT,FOR THEY WENT AND FOUGHT SO BRAVELY THROUGH TWO WORLD WARS LEAVING THEIR FAMILIES AND FRIENDS TO SO BRAVELY GO AND FACE THE ENERMY OBVIOUSLY FEELING VERY NERVOUS AND AFRAID AND NOT KNOWING IF THEY WOULD EVER BE RETURNING HOME TO THEIR FAMILY AND FRIENDS BUT DID THE JOB THEY HAD TO DO.
ALSO LETS REMEMBER THOSE BRAVE MEN AND WOMEN WHO ARE STILL GOING TO WAR SO BRAVELY FACING THE ENERMY AND LAYING THEIR LIVES ON THE LINE IN HOPE OF A BETTER PEACEFUL WORLD.....EVERYBODY PLEASE LETS REMEMBER THEM ALL...THEIR OUR HEROES.....EVERYONE OF THEM...THE ONES NOW RESTING AFTER FIGHTING SO BRAVELY AND THE ONES WHO ARE STILL FIGHTING FOR PEACE AND AN END TO WAR AND TERRORISM.PLEASE WEAR A POPPY AND REMEMBER AND LETS NOT EVER FORGET.crying

I agree, we should keep them in our thoughts and prayers. It is sad, that people cannot accept differences. I have a hard time understanding someone who wants to kill others because they think differently. I think it is the difference that make things exciting, but it can also divide.

I dont go to church except this time of year.
I just came home from my 2nd tour in iraq almost 2 years ago. i fought in three wars.... 2 in the gulf and the falklands, now I am retired. I have had the pleasure of serving with the men and made great life long friends. I have lost too many good friends too.
I will never forget them. I signed up 25 yrs ago cos I wanted to be a soldier
I didn't fight for my country... I fought for the mates that stood beside me. Some died... others wounded and all have mental scars.
Today of all days we remember those who didn't come home.... but please have a prayer to for those that did and have been left by the wayside by the politicians who stand at a enitaff and pretend they give a shit
