But you didn't answer the question.

WHY did you choose to have a child?

I was thinking the same thing..in your OP you ruled out planned pregnacies and accidents..leaves ..keeping the blood line going.

No, I didn't rule out planned pregnacies. I ruled out keeping a child from an UNplanned pregnancy.

This thread ISN'T about HOW you got a child. It's about why you want them.

Why do people get pregnant on purpose??? Why do people choose to have children?

Anglo you can dress it up with any words you want but at the end of the day its about keeping the bloodline going..passing your genes on...

And it's as simple and blunt as that..bouquet

There's also "my sister's got one I want one too."

Or "I looked after my nieces and nephews the other day. We had a great time. I want children of my own."

We often desire what other people have.

Interesting comment coming from a man. Players usually don't like the responsibility of kids. They get in the way of their play time.

I agree that life after chilfren is fantastic!!

Some people simply want to have a child with another person to demonstrate the bond which they have with them.

I have had 9 pregnancies, (5 children) and they were all planned. I wanted to be pregnant with my husband's child. We wanted to have something which was of both of us...

And a child's love is unconditional...

There is something so loving about this statement.

The thought of being pregnant with my husband's child is nice. It's the delivery part that seems to cancel out that thought.rolling on the floor laughing
