I am actually reading book called “THE CAMEL CLUB” written by David Baldacci.
He talk about a group of 04 peoples call them self the camel club. They try to discover any wrong doing in the White house and disclose it to the public. It is quit good and interesting and make you can’t wait for the next time you have time to read it. It is also about conspiracy to kill the president by an inside CIA man.
The book contain 688 pages and I am on page 492.

Christmas present - *Lightning from the Cockpit* by Peter Caygill. Published by Pen & Sword Aviation 2004
He was one of my squadron (74)Pilots when we got the Mk 1's in 1960

Interesting read IMO especially for all who have had any contact with them and enthusiats who went to airshows and saw them and what they can do.

Fiction has never appealed to me apart from some of the works by Dickens.

Interesting comment - Maybe it is a case of where others, especially many younger people can only use a computer to get their information and have no patience with reading actual books, writing or even art and drawing.

There are also many young people today who leave school and having been through Primary and Secondary education for 10 years leave school at 16 unable to read, write legibly or do basic mathematics.

Hi folks

I am re-reading the Celestine Prophecy by James Redfield. Although a work of fiction, it gives great insight into why we are here - i.e. to experience enlightenment if we are prepared to look further than just seeing things in black and white. It states that nothing is purely coindidental and that everything happens for a reason. It is quite a spiritual book and I would highly recommend it. The book was recommended to me some years ago but I only got around to reading it last year and it is well worth a read if you have have ever had the thought "why am I here?". thumbs up

I am about half way through 'Killing The Shadows',by Val McDermid.
Her novel concerns a psychological profiler, helping the police to catch serial offenders.

In this book,a serial killer is targeting crime fiction novelists'and her boyfriend just happens to be....a best selling crime fiction author. And she is concerned that he may be next,on the serial killer's hit list.

Some of her books have been adapted for T.V. Including 'The Wire In The Blood',series, which starred Robson Green, and Hermione Norris.

I am a huge fan of hers, and i am always on the lookout for more of her excellent books.

In between my Psychology book and my "Language of Medicine" book I am trying to read "The Kite Runner" by Khaled Hosseini although I haven't made it very far. I'm hoping by my next break I will have at least made it halfway through!! What I have read I enjoyed very much!
