I just recieved an email from Abbey National to login and activate my account!

I do not have an Abbey National a/c.

It is a scam that must have gotten by the spam filters, so if you do have an Abbey National a/c and get this it would be well advised to ignore it and check with your local Bank.

I've had them from Abbey and Nat West as well - they go into the bulk folder as possible spam so I just delete them without opening them. Not had the charity ones though - yet - laugh

I don't open up any email from a bank or financial institution, or just about any email whose address is not on my contact list, or known subscription.

But of-course, now there is also the world of ...

'PHISHING'...

...which used to spelled 'fishing' and meant something completely different!doh

This people never give up. I read in the newspaper one day that if they get only one positive replay from 12 million span they send, they still make 02 million pound a year .
It looks like the chance rate 1/12000000 and that’s nearly zero chance. This is show how this people are determine to get our money. So fellas be careful.
