I totally agree! In the summer I make nettle tea, using the stinging nettles from the bottom of my garden. It's great for detoxifying and if you have a hangover!! Plus other things.(I have got to make sure my cats haven't peed up them though) lol

SOUNDS AGOOD IDEA , BUT YOU MUST USE ONLY NETTLES FROM YOUR OWN GADEN NOT ONES TJHST GROW WILD, I LIKE THE TASTE OF NETTLE TEA MYSELF BUT DONT HAVE A GARDEN ANYMORE TO GROW THEM IN

I LOVE nettle tea! But if you let it brew too long, it can taste bitter!

Another one I love is chamomile, honey and lemon, but I have to buy that one from the supermarket.

Trish, would you mind telling me how to make the Rosehip tea please?

You get the big wild hedgerow hips, I think they are called rosa rugosa but will look it up in a while - take the scraggy bits from the top and bottom, give em a rinse then cut them up really small, do it on a warm day and spread them out under a tea towel or muslin to dry for storage (store in airtight container) then put a spoonful to steep in hot water for a few mins, you can do it fresh too - I love the stuff - easiest though is a tea bag from asda laugh

I worked in a health food shop one time and they sold it loose by the lb, I went through loads of the stuff grin

last yr I made some ribena type stuff with the blackcurrants from the garden, that was really nice and a great way of making them last....
