WE HAVE A GOOD SENSE OF HOW LONG I SHOULD WAIT....AT LEAST A YEAR IS THE FEELING OF THE CS FRIENDS....

WHAT ARE THE THINGS THAT MUST HAPPEN BEFORE I SHOULD FEEL WHOLE SO AS NOT TO BRING TOO MANY EMOTIONAL PROBLEMS INTO THE NEXT WITH ME... (BAGGAGE)..WHAT ABOUT THE HUGE HOLE AND THE LONELY NIGHTS...WHY DO I NEED TO WAIT NOW WHEN I NEED HER MOST NOW?

1 LETTING GO AND FORGIVING

You need to believe in yourself first inorder for anything to happen. You have to let go and let God!

How long after divorce a person takes .... depends on the person. Healing must take place before you find the right what you are looking for. As annoying as that sounds, it's true.

Please continue to post on the forums. Some people have found it helps them vent, learn, heal, and in some cases find that special person. For others, it helped them through some rough stuff, and helped them be able to meet someone. You might not meet that special someone on line, but being here can help.

Don't worry about ranting, you might be surprised how many other people feel the same way.

Good luck in your search.

Oh my God, I picked the wrong emoticon .. I wanted to say it takes forever to get over divorce. When your health fails you even get more miserable and lonely. There is no hope of moving on.

Hi neighbour! For the most part, when I do have some spare time do come on and post or reply or whatever. Sometimes I just read, because it gets to the point that one isn't really sure of what to say and how caustic the replies will be. I think several of us try to start posts about various topics, but nobody responds! Maybe if someone would start (I say this in sarcastic jest mind you) a thread such as POLL: Who likes anal sex more? Canadians or Americans? We could get some action going.conversing
The atmosphere has changed about 360 degrees on this site...for whatever reasons...and I agree Gordy, people should put their supposed differences aside or what have you and start interacting! grin

After my mom died of cancer my Dad kept company with a lady who was there helping him through the bad times. After 6 months they moved in together and 6 months later got married. He felt lonely and did not want to be by himself and it did work out for them.

wave Okay, my two cents worth...Something like a marriage is a huge part of one's life and when that marriage dissolves, along with it goes lost hopes, dreams, wishes and wants. Most people grieve this loss, in a very similar way that one would grieve a death - because it is a very significant loss. Thus, most will go through all the stages of grief, in various degrees. And that is okay, because it means you are human and it means you feel. In my opinion, I think you get to the point where you really feel nothing at all - the anger is gone - kind of indifferent, you know. You can see that there were good times and love at one time and that for what ever reason, it did not work - you are you and deserve to continue on your life's journey. And when you are whole and healthy and can say it doesn't matter any more, when you have let go - you are ready! dancing And there is no time line....But it does happen!!!yay
