Been there,Done that, yadayada!! One thing for sure is,don't go from one EXTREME to another.Don't go and join a Cult group, easy on the booze,(Impairds REALLY SUCK),don't go all religious,if you haven't gotten rid of the anger yet,go out in the woods and scream your head off,it really works!Everything in moderation for a while, don't think that the Next girl that comes along will be "THE ONE" because you're going to have a few rebounders!
There's only so much self pitycrying and blame, that your friends can handle,so don't keep this up for too longfrustrated There's going to be alot of "Dating" going on,so get in the stream of things and swim! The "PERFECT ONE" won't just show up at your door,(unless your buddies got a couple hundred bucks together, nudge nudge)so you have to put yourself out there,or here!
Best of luck,'cause we're all looking for the same thing!

My response to Gordy:
Hi neighbour! For the most part, when I do have some spare time do come on and post or reply or whatever. Sometimes I just read, because it gets to the point that one isn't really sure of what to say and how caustic the replies will be. I think several of us try to start posts about various topics, but nobody responds! Maybe if someone would start (I say this in sarcastic jest mind you) a thread such as POLL: Who likes anal sex more? Canadians or Americans? We could get some action going.conversing
The atmosphere has changed about 360 degrees on this site...for whatever reasons...and I agree Gordy, people should put their supposed differences aside or what have you and start interacting! grin

My Aunt did the same thing, but about 6 months after her husband of +50 yrs passed away. My aunt still loved her late husband, and the man she lived with after my uncle passed away, was a friend of the family and had lost his wife 10 yrs previously. Some family members were upset over it, but some of us felt that if this man was good to her etc, why should she be alone? Life is too short.

I am sorry your father passed away.
