what is the proper thing to do with wedding ring when widowed after 1 year remove it or do you put it on the ring finger of your right hand

You do what feels right for you. If putting it on a finger of your right hand, that is what you do. Some people take them off and put them away to give to their child or had the wedding band made into a pinkie ring or put on a chain around their necks.

You do what you feel comfortable with.

i melted a friends ring down with a torch and poured the gold on to a cut off stump ,, when it cooled of it was the shape of the yukon ,so i punched a hole in the top with a nail ,and he put a leather shoelace theough the hole and i dony kno what he did with it after
