Ourself: Do you drink alcohol?
There is no denying that habitual and chronic ingestion of larger amount of alcohol have very serious and irreversible effects of the human body and mind.
I don't drink alcohol; I have, sometimes lots, sometimes little...regardless I made a conscious decision to no longer allow anything to control anything about me, mentally, physically, emotionally....anything that changes one's sense of self or alters their mind in any way.
I have seen the effects, short term and long term, from THC. There is no way that anyone, if they had witnessed how sick my son was, could deny that "just pot" does not cause serious and far reaching damage...The level of THC in pot today is capable of triggering permanent psychosis and in young males there is a proven and consistent connection to THC and drug induced schizophrenia.
Cannabis also has the ability to stunt ones emotional and mental development at or about at the age where one started chronically smoking. Thus, you end up with 40 year olds who may emotionally reason and have the sense of logic of a 16 year old...Try being married to that; try having a discussion or reach a compromise with someone who reasons like they did when they were 15? Better yet...watch someone who reasons like a 15 year old try to parent; It doesn't work, they are not capable; they can be a great friend and buddy, but not a parent.
These are my opinions, based upon very personal experience and alot of education about this subject. I know many will not agree - good for them, but don't you dare go down my throat for believing what I do and speaking my mind...each to their own.
