Canada is the world. I mean all nations consider Canada is part of their. Toronto represent UN as people from all nations have a home here. Canada being an open minded and tolerant make Canadian respetced all over the world. This is the fundmenatl different between us and our neighour and brother Unlce Sam. Our big brother need to be tough for he is the boss.

I don't have an explanation of what is Canada but I do know I would love to travel and see this land more.

I used to think about travelling abroad but the more I see of Canada and all the different places it offers I am more in love with my own country.

Cheers!

To be Canadian.

To me it means a responsibility to be polite and tolerant; to accept the differences in others nationalities and make them a part of your world. To get along with anyone and everyone, even if that means you have to compromise or complain a bit...

It also means a privilge. A privilage of being recognized and liked the world over. A privilage of being one of few (we're actually relatively small population wise) and to have a heritage of service, pride and a great wilderness and beauty to call home.

I've been lucky enough to have traveled quite well and have been a Canadian abroad, and that really underlined it for me.

Good question!

To be Canadian.. Or not to be.. that is the bloody question heehee just messing there.... Ok cough, serious stuff now.... I have learned since I've been doing a lot of travelling from here to the USA and now that the job I have is an American company and I talk to Americans ALLLLL day long, I have come to realize....
As Canadians...:

1-we really are bloody-well polite, it isn't just a stereotype, really!
2-we aren't just white and anglo, we are extremely diverse in race, religion, language ect...
3-we are way tolerant
4-we love hockey and beer, don't mind the cold, or at least deal with it
5-we seem to be an outdoorsy type of people....

and I think one of the biggest defining parts of being Canadian is the fact that we can make fun of ourselves and LAUGH about it, I mean make fun of our own selves, our nation, our politicians, our people, ect... we do it more than most other countries... I mean we produced things like Bob and Doug (?think that was his name...) Mackenzie, Strange Brew, Canadian Bacon..... ect.... we are just a funny people who love to rib everything and everyone. I think that is so amazing! I LOVE Canada, I love being Canadian and I love Canadians... everyone come here, I wanna give ya'll a big hug! heehee and then we can have some beers and go mud boggin' and maybe shoot sum deers, or maybe go to the Tim Hortons eh? heehee Just messin' people....cheers

I am proud to be Canadian. I feel fortunate to be born in this wonderful country.
For me being Canadian is looking out for your neighbour, helping when help is needed even though someone hasn't asked for it. Random acts of kindness, smiling, respecting the beauty around us. Caring for the enviroment, the land, the animals, the whole country.
Having the freedoms that we have. Having a medical system. I know that some don't but alot do and I hope that all will in the very near future.
And so many more things.
I am proud to be Canadian

Canada to me is a palce where I have freedom, of speech, religion and sexual orientaion, canada has always had a legacy and will continue to have that, I love canada and would not want to live anyhwere else, not only is the land beautiful but the people as well, other countries portray canada as a "wimp" but not to be ruse I would rather be a wimp than to have to be in turmoil all the time. I find it really hard to answer what it means to be a canadian but that was my opinion. Plus hockey, canada will always be hockey...lol

I love how our country is more down to earth and accepting of others despite their nationality and cultures and beliefs. I love how we look more towards peace and love than war. I am proud to be a canadian and acadian and proud of my french heritage and that I had the opportunity to learn to speak, write and understand both the english and french language and that I can pass that on to my children. canada

And other than that. Wooohooo on hockey, poutine and our awesome festivals! Oh and we have the best beer too lol dancing banana

I love being Canadian. I have fun defending our country against my American uncle and any other American that wonders north of the boarder. I often feel the proudest of my country when I see a Canadian flag, any size. If you ever get an email that says 25 reasons why Canada Kicks ass...READ IT! The 25th reason is the best. "25. Our 2-4 case handles fit our hands WITH mitts on!" ROCK ON CANADA!!here's to you
