Well today I had my first experience of witnessing the wonder of ultrasound to view my grandchild ... and it was so amazing to see the baby's little limbs moving around.

The baby is about 10cm in size at 10 weeks so it appears to be doing well in its development so far. My daughter will have another ultrasound at about 28 weeks so at that time the baby will be much easier to see and perhaps at that time we will be able to tell if its going to be a girl or a boy. I'm happy to have shared that experience with my daughter - it was truly amazing.

That is an amazing experience. And great that you and your daughter can share that.

hug Wonderful!!! I'm delighted for you! I get so excited about babies but my darling daughters will likely make me wait another 10 years for grandchildren. They promise me "grandkittens" in the meantime. rolling on the floor laughing

Other than feeling the baby's movements, I really loved the U/S's. It was so neat to see the baby moving around and hearing the little heartbeat.

Is this your first grandchild? Congrats to you guys! :o)

Hhm..... not sure about the Granmamma part ..... and I'll continue to dye my silver hair ... although I never expected that silver hair would be an omen of becoming a grandma!! And I'm definitely not growing my hair and putting it into a bun as someone else suggested to me.

As for the miracle of birth ...... no words can truly describe the wonder of it ....... its a reminder to me of our creator and the amazing power that created us.
