I've been a long-haired fellow since I was a teenager, but these days it seems most women don't like it and I'm finally considering cutting it off. What do you think?

Thanks for your input.

that long hair is part of you, don,t cut it because what other,s think ,cut it because you want to for you thier is someone out their for all of us.But if your looking for a new look go for it but you are the same person inside and is that not what counts theses days excepting you for you is what makes it real,.cool

If you're going to cut it, do it because you want to. Don't let other people influence your decision. cheers

I personally like long hair on men, so long as it is kept clean and not scruffy looking!

I agree with everyone else though - only cut it if YOU want to... don't do it because its the current trend or someone else wants you to!

Part of being yourself & being honest is being who you are, not who others think you should be!

In my opinion long hair is for the ladies. I don't find long hair on men attractive at all. With that said whats good for some is not for others. Don't do anything that you don't want to do... trust me on this one, it is only hair and no matter how many times you cut, dye, curl, straighten or flatten it will grown back.

it depends on the guy some guys actually look really good with long hair and you certainly pull the look off with long hair. i know if the guys has long hair i like my hands through it but even with short hair i run my hands over their heads it's all on how well the look after the long hair.

Hmm. Thanks for the input everyone. I'll keep it for a little while longer and see if I can garner some female attention, but if not it'll go in the next couple of months. I guess it can always grow back...

It all depends on how it looks!
If it looks straw like is thin and out of control with split ends?! GET RID OF IT!

But if it is soft shiny looks healthy and trimmed regularly to avoid split ends and somewhat thick then KEEP IT!

If it looks good on the guy and he takes care of it then i have no problem with long hair. On some it is very sexy.

I worked in the Eaton Place food court at one point and there was a native guy who came in every day. He had the most gorgeous jet black shiny well taken care of hair i have ever seen on a guy, or woman as a matter of fact. I WAS JEALOUS!!!! I literally drooled every time he came in.

I think the sexiest thing is a man who clearly does whatever he likes, with his hair, his beard (or not), his style of dress, everything, rather than adopting that 'whatever is today's trend' look.

My personal preference is YES! keep that long hair clean, soft & shiny, even if it's in a pony 90% of the time, I'll still love twiddling it around my fingers when we are watching tv, falling asleep, and (especially) on a long drive.

I myself don't care for today's goatee-thingy, it looks ok on very few guys, my opinion, and those are the same guys who'd look equally great with a grizzly adams or clean-shaven.
