Yes that has happened to me, the person used a high school picture. But to be nice I had coffee with him but never met him again after that. Totally dishonest and I don't go for that.

We are good friends so I have no complaints...

Yeah I took out one woman I met online who was much larger than her photos seemed to be; it's a shame (she was nice) but I spent the whole date wondering why she would misrepresent herself like that. Seems better to be as honest as possible to me - she wasn't unattractive, just bigger than my type - so why not be honest so as to find real mutual attraction?

Oh you must be the older sister, do you know what time your sister said she would make it.

Oh I don't think we have been introduced, I don't recognize you. I'm actually his twin brother..

It's like we met years ago, and now just again. My how you have changed.

So who's picture is that on your profile lol

So far I've always found that the women I end up dating are better looking in real life than the impression I got from their profile pictures or pics they sent me. :) Sometimes I wonder why they chose the picture they did. Especially if they have multiple pics and choose the least attractive one as their primary. confused

Well, it's always harder to judge ones own appearance I guess. To be honest, I'm not even sure if I chose the right picture as my primary myself...
I had another set of pictures a while ago, then I changed to a picture where I had orange hair because I thought I looked cooler in that image, but then I was informed by a woman that I looked better in my original pic so I changed it back.

Had it happen once. We were supposed to meet outside a store and I was wondering who this guy comming up to me with a big smile was.I litterally did not know what to say or do for a few minutes. When he introduced himself I tried to politely tell him he needed an updated pic,not one from 20 yrs ago.rolling on the floor laughing

Oh my God! I have just joined this site and I can't even imagine having to go out a window!! But I could see having to do that in a dire need to basis. As for stirring coffee with her tongue that is just GROSS!!! even knowing a person for a while I would never let them touch my coffee like that! But at least you excused yourself that was a polite way off doing it.applause
