The day is going to be way too nice to be thinking about winter, but... blushing

...yesterday I finished 2 of the three windows at the front! Ready to take the tape off today. I love unveiling. smitten

One more colour on the big front window, the garage is finished! Hopefully, one more coat of colour on the front of the house and its finished! cheering ... and then the eavestrough - only the end pieces left. Have some touch ups I want to do, but they aren't crucial. 2 thumbs up

Wow! I can see the light at the end of the tunnel!!! yay

I might even get a chance to relax tomorrow. dunno

Push a button, wait for the 3 slides to come in. Back truck up to trailer, hook up hitch. Load bike in garage, strap down. Drive south very fast, or west to coast.

Landlord had a few guys come by this weekend and they are doing my roof...getting ready for winter
next thing is fixing the windows so they dont rattle, well he says anyways
have only lived here for 3 months so l didnt know they needed to be fixed but as long as he is on it, quess l dont have to give much thought to getting these things done
But l must start putting away all the summer chairs and table and getting out the winter boxes that l just put away....

All the major painting is done! The eavestroughing is all installed. Looks absolutely stunning!! danceline

And the scaffolding has gone back to its rightful home... got a steal too! Not sure what happened, but I got 4 weeks rental for 2. It worked for them, who am I to complain? dunno

1 more colour on the front window and 4 shutters left to paint and 6 to install. Not this weekend, tho. Now I can focus on puttering around inside and getting ready for another work week and puppy(ies)! dancing

Have some minor painting projects on the house left for spring, door window frames and basement windows and maybe even the garage doors (after I consult my decorating committee)... conversing

Next weekend??? To the lake... Shed is ready to take on the lake stuff. Shelving and the big haul... can't forget the lock! Weekend after that??? Organizing the garage!

Who am I kidding?? The list never ends... D'oh!

cool

Household things of course, but at this time of year I have to get the car ready for winter too. I have to flush my cooling system this year, last year I could tell it wasn't heating up enough.
It's a good time to check the spare tire and make sure its full, and that the jack and tire wrench are there too.

A little can of WD40 and some gloves will make a tire change a lot easier when it gets cold and it will get cold!

This is the time of year I'm glad I live in Canada's banana belt.

We hear in central, southern ONtario have at least a good month, month and a half before it gets colder.

Can't believe you westerners are already battening down the hatches.

Enjoy
i think winter is a great time of the year....lol
