What is everyone thinking about doing in the slow coming summer? I don't really have any plans yet myself!

planning a trip to florida to meet someone from another site..he is just a friend but a great friend at that....

Driving a tractor (work)


Fixing fence (work)

Cutting and baling hay (work)

Enjoying a cold beer once in a while.

Maybe some water skiing on the local lake.



Nothing special or unusual Just staying close to home.

Haven't done haying in years lol

I shall hope to have a great summer....hope my girl does too if she sees the sperm donor(I know,I know.......I don't like him )
I'm not perfect....sad to announce but yas love me anyway

might have to change my plans from going to meet that friend in Florida to making a surprise trip to Australia in September....oldest daughter just told me that she is going australia to see her fiancee in June and staying there with him til end of November..now comes the big surprise part..she then told me that they plan on getting married there in September before coming back..l thinks l will have to go there and see them get married...no one knows that they plan on marrying there, only me. And my daughter said that since its so expensive no one will be there but she wants this so bad...so l am going to try and surprise her because they already set the date they are doing it...what a surprise it will be.
So Australia here l come...September 6, 2008 well maybe a few days before...

I hope to try waterskiing this year. So far I've not been able to find a lake with a hill.

Maybe you should go to Austrailia too. They got big waves there that could work as hills.

Than maybe a snowboard might work better.

yes hopefully it will all work out, she is still waiting for her passport and visa so she can go there...called to day and they said visa had been approved but cant get a answer from passport...poops...but l am sure everything will work out..have my passport all ready and have been looking into flights....l ant wait, getting so excited..we went out and bought her a simple white strapless dress and white slip on sandals....they plan on getting married at the beach....l have been in touch with her fiance and asked him if wanted to use my grandmothers wedding band as part of ceremony and he said yes...he is going to give her 2 wedding bands...one that she will wear with the diamond ring and then he is going to put the other one on her left hand as a memory of her great grandmother who she was very close to...l think its so special and so sweet...l cant wait

thank you curly for all the best wishes....l am sure she will be very happy and that everything will go smoothly...l thought that her getting married without anyone there would be sad but she is letting me help her make plans before she leaves and its a moms wish that her daughter be happy and by the look on her face every morning when she hears his name or we do something for the wedding or her trip, the smile just melts my heart....
