Girls are like apples on trees.
The best ones are at the top of the tree.

The boys don't want to reach for the good
ones because they are affraid of falling
and getting hurt.

Instead, they just get the rotten apples
from the ground that aren't as good,
but easy.

So the apples at the top think
something is wrong with them, when in
reality, they're amazing.

They just have to wait for the right boy to
come along, the one who's brave enough to
climb all the way to the top of the tree.

..and wouldn't you know it..I'm afraid of heights
help

Yep, thats one of my fav little quotes.
I've been known to quote it when online people exchange 1 note and hope to meet me. Instead I like to know more about the person before rushing in. Requires more effort and patience but I'm not an apple on the ground.

Let's see
I have tried to climb the apple tree.
But this klutz ends up breaking a branch.
Now all the apples on the broken branch are P O'd.
And the apples on top are hoping the I don't touch their branch.

confused

So I think I will use the wobblely step ladder,
and the pole with the apple catcher on the end of it.

Now there's a beauty, might be just in reach.

I have to disagree

The Apples at the top of the tree ripen too quickly from too much exposure
They feel the need to be picked and try too hard
Then God created makeup

The apples mid tree are content and willing to accept

But the apples that are grounded are just that....they have no expectations
they are already settled and comfortable....all they want is a chance

If it were only so simple for people to see

Some apples have weak stems and fall from the tree easily, other apples have thick skins and can withstand the fall. If you've ever gone apple picking you'll know that not all the apples on the ground are bad. bruised, maybe but not bad. most are still ripe, they just need someone that knows what to do with them.
take a bruised apple, peal it, cut any the dark part, add some sugar, rap it in pastry, bake with love and you'll get apple pie!
Baking a pie takes more time then just picking an apple but it's worth the work.
