Ok I'm curious and as u all know I have a never ending love for the strange (stick with what you know )



Tell me the strangest story,fact or thing that has happened to you.....and no,meeting me doe not count.

Back years ago in the 70s, I had joined the armed forces and did my basic training in Cornwallis, Nova Scotia. The barricks
were shaped like the letter H. The two long lines was were the beds were, except for the very ends of them, those were the
smokers. That's the only place in the barricks were you were allowed to smoke. They had couches, chairs, pop machine, a phone, and a TV.
One night after dinner, we had all gathered up in the smoker to get ready to watch a special. The first time Alice Coopers Welcome to my Nightmare was to be aired. Just 15 minutes before the special had started, this odd looking green light came out of the wall plug where the TV was plugged into, it ran across the top of the TV and into another plug on the other side of the TV. The TV itself stopped working, so ofcourse we missed the special. The next day an electrician came in to inspect the plugs, but said he couldn't find anything wrong with either the plugs, or the powerlines.
The TV never worked after that.
Explain that
..and for the record, Yes this IS a true story

Guess I was maybe 15 at the time so say 76 My Father and I went to see the dentist together in Markham Ontario.
on the way home there was a traffic Jam on Higway 48.....cars were just stopped in the middle of the highway and people were out of their cars all looking East into a farmers field. We both turned to look and I think that may have been the first time I heard my Dad swear...."Holy Shit"......then silence between us for the rest of our vision and the drive home
I can only describe what we saw as a "Flying Saucer"...it was huge....round.....silver....and had many various coloured lights. Maybe 15-20 other cars were stopped there watching this so it was not a dream. Of course in 76 noone had cell phone cams...or cell phones.....lol.....no digital cams....and I guess noone had a Polaroid that day either

I definately believe in UFO's.....and so does my Dad.....I honestly believe we actually saw one that day

And BTW Jenn.....meeting you and sharing special time with you was an honour and far from strange....but the neighbours had alot of questions about the Quebec Plates.....lol....till we meet again sexy
