What drives me COMPLETELY batty is when you're in a hurry to get somewhere, and you get stuck behind some 200 year old that can barely see over their steeringwheel, and going slower than the second coming of christ. I think there should be a law that when you reach a certain age, say like 70, it should be mandatory for you to turn in your drivers license.....

frustrated frustrated frustrated very mad

Even before I'm 70, if I thought (or heard someone bitching about my driving) I was being a menace to other drivers, I would gladly give up my license, besides, with the price of gas these days, I'd be able to afford my own hut on the virgin islands, where I could spend the rest of my days chasing women in grass skirts with a weed wacker

Wanna hear a good one???

I almost started a racial war on the bus this morning.

We have 2 ladies that take up two seat... sometimes the front 3 seats, just for themselves, lunch bag (plastic bag) and purse. No one is allowed to sit on the seat with them. Their skin tone is darker than some of the other passengers on the bus.

Today the bus was full and I asked as I walked by, could they "Please move their bag so someone could sit".

The lady got ticked off, called me racist for picking on her, because other passengers had their bags on seats as well. When she said that, other passengers started to laugh since she was the only one.

I stopped short of asking, why it was racist if the roles were reversed. If we did not allow her to sit, and stand all the way, and why it was not racist for her to let the other passengers sit?

Asking the lady to move her bag, was so that senior citizens that get on the bus at the stop near a senior citizen's residence could have a seat. Most of them are from Europe, and Asia.

Thoughts anyone?

Next time, explain to her\them, that you're not a racist, but you strongly feel that a bus is for passengers, not a barn to carry cows....that'll give her\them something to be pissed about

Some people have short fuses.........
Sadly, today political correctness(incorrectness as i call it) has taken common sense above and beyond the limits of reason.Everything is seen as a form of 'racism' one way or another...u can't win for losing.
Common sense has gone the way of the dodo bird.sigh
