Brewster (my hairy dog) was standing under the gazebo .... and it was so cool listening to the rain hit the canvas roof. The smells from the garden were amazing...

Does any one like the smell of the garden out, or out side after it rains?

The plant the smells like chocolate mint.... seemed to take over my little yard.

Thunder got too loud for Brewster, so we went in side. Still listening to the rain fall .... kept the windows open... nice fresh breeze is blowing in, and the smell of chocolate mint and the flowers.

The rain is glorious! Cleaning the grit and the grime and the smoke away! It was so hot and humid; the rain and cooler temp is welcome - maybe not for campers etc. but it has given the firefighters a break and spared many acres of forest and allowed hundreds of people to return to their homes in the north. Ahhh, and the smell...I know what you mean - don't have a backyard right now but...

Just wondering what the weather is doing in Edmonton tonight? Usually what you have we get about 8 to 10 hours later. And I need to know if there is sun coming. The rain and break in the heat was nice, but this is almost getting depressing!

Oh well, maybe it will warm up next week! Guess it could be worse, could be at the lake trying to keep everyone dry and entertained.

I am thinking that one or two would be okay; been a helluva week, but being with little one is a perfect way to end the week (well, in all honesty its the only option I have really). So, we`ll find something to do or maybe we will go spashing!! It`s just watergrin

My kids loved going out after it rained.... they would help Mom splash in as many puddles as we could find.... made for great memories. My kids still remember that too. grin

We are going to go for an ice cream treat and then splashing, the parking lot is full of lights. Then a warm bath and snuggle and watch a movie. You all have a great night.grin

rolling on the floor laughing I do not live in the Tornado path or valley... not sure the watch is just for my end of town, but more for other areas of Edmonton. We did not get hail like some other areas.

I'd say the animals (pets) would be good indicators for a tornado, but they act weird all the time.... so if they act normal, does that mean a tornado is on the way? confused

Hmmm I thought you told me that BJ was one of your initials?.... besides..... BT?

trying to decide what to eat for supper...... meh Really don't feel like cooking......
