Okay folks, we are almost at the end of the week and one could sit around and mope and think about everything that makes you unhappy. Howsabout things that make you happier;things that make you go hmmm; things that just make you smile; things that make you wanna dance? Have to look at the brighter side!
some of mine are:
1. lemon meringue pie
2. Real whipped cream on my hot chocolate
3. lilies
4. an unexpected cheque in the mail
5. Clean soft sheets, just off the line
6. An angel food cake that turns out
7. the words "you have no cavities"
8. Out on the road on the back of a nice bike
9. Wrapping a video game
10.six hours of solid sleep!
11. A really good song.
yay

ok i'll play
things that make my day
1. a beautiful sunrise--another chance
2. a hug from my kids
3. a please or thank you
4. being able to smile and see someone else catch it and return it
5. having my kids home safe with me at the end of the day
6. turning on the radio and dancing and singing (alone!)
7. love
8. gardening

ok..that's it for now..hope they're not too sugary.

Fresh clean sheets....

My kids.... even though they can irritate me.

Great Cup of Tea (Mug)

Nature

Babies

my dog

a smile

my kids when they were little bringing me a bouquet of dandilions

a book...

Sunrise.

Mountains, ocean, lakes

smiles but genuine ones that reach the person's eyes.

Putting on the music and feeling free enough to dance away with out inhabitions.... hell, even sing along and not worry someone will plug their ears.

Trees, nature.

Breeze on my face.

New born babies cry (after about a month, it's gone)

Skylar's laugh Daniel making faces back and both of them smiling... or pointing up and saying SEEEE

Music

leisurely walk

sound of laughter

Smells.... of certain foods...... or a vanilla scented candle

Even some chocolate......

Strawberry short cake

Frozen vanilla yogurt

Raspberries

Finishing a good painting.

Quiet nights looking at the stars

I'd like to slow dance....

making my friends laugh or smile

a nice wine

Love Teddy bears....

watching fire works

rolling eyes Thanks, just took me awhile to get it all together (computer/camara/program etc.) Gotta hand it to you, i have had a hard time giving up 8 week old puppies, there is no way that i could care for a new-one for 1 month and send her along - takes special people to do what you do. Takes alot of courage

Oh I'm just saying any new born babies cry..... My mother is the foster parent. I have security clearance and training to be her back up or for some of their friends if they need a break.

I'm just an admin asistant..... others are the ones that do the looking after of the little and big ones 24/7.

You have to be dedicated to do what they do... and you don't get rich doing it.

Well then, your mother must be a pretty decent lady. And don't sell yourself short, nobody is "just" anything.
Why is it that fresh clean sheets mean so much to us? i wonder if it is just a "girl thing"?Well that and male interior decorators.grin

I do not think most males unless interior decorators.... would notice if the sheets were fresh and clean.... they don't usually notice the smell or dingy look either.......confused

Being the angel that I am, I can see us going wayyyyyy off track here - we really have to give the poor souls a break K. This is a positive, what makes you warm and fuzzy, what spins your cookie, happy post - and if I start boy bashing, well then I'm leaving my "happy place"- but I know what you're saying, they don't even care if the sheets match, and what's with no top sheets? dunno

Hmmm; must say that it would not irritate me if there was a man and he not only noticed the fresh sheets, but acknowledged them as well. As for the flying kilts, well that is something that definitely would not irritate me, so many questions could be answered with one good breeze!angel
