My favourite movie of all time is 'The Music Man' staring Robert Preston, Shirley Jones, Buddy Hacket. A great musical and comedy and romance story. I tis also the very first movie Ronny Howard was in. I enjoy many categories, but for an all time hit..that is it. Popcorn, and jujubes and a wonderful woman to snuggle with would complete the time when I watch it. What is yoru favourite? and what atmosphere would make the enjoyment of that film wonderful for you? confused

I really don't remember the last time I found the time to watch a whole movie, uninterrupted. I tend to miss many chunks of a movie and depend on others to fill me in on all that I have missed...LOL. I am so far behind, still catching up on the winning films of 5 years ago. Ideal, quiet, snacks, no kids, no phone, my cuddle and the ability to stay awake!!! cheering

Anything with Nick Cage, Patrick Swayze - Action, drama, mystery...absolutely nothing "evil" - but love movies like "when Darkness Falls" - the adrenalin released with that kind of scare is invigorating to say the least. Looking forward to watching Iron Man and Women! angel

You tweaked my memory - HELL, forgot all about how much I used to like to watch Grease!!! Also, Alladin, Lion King, Beauty and the Beast - all the great Disney/Pixar ones that got every one of my children through every childhood illness known to man, and left me with an ounce of sanity (? debatable)

Can still sit down and watch Toy Story without any hesitation and get lost in the fantastic music of every production!!! So I guess it goes to show that there is often far more than we realize wrapped up in our movie memories!!! cheering angel

The Princess Bride

I could watch it a million times, I probably have watched close to that many times.

Alone, with a group of friends shouting out the lines, or with someone special, I will always enjoy it.
