There are very few actors or so called "Celebrities", I have respect for, but Paul Newman is at the top of that list.

He passed away today and will be missed by many people that had the chance to know him. He was respected by many people from many walks of life.

He raised money for children dealing with cancer, and other illness's, gave money for their camps, was a very intelligent man, and dared to give his support for civil rights, and oppose the war. Paul Newman was opposed to the Vietnam War, and in favour of civil rights, he was so proud that he ended up on president Richard Nixon's "enemies list".

Any man that says "Why go out with Hamburger, when you have steak at home.", when asked about his marital success.... hmmm wouldn't it be cool if so many felt that way.

RIP Mr. Newman. To your family and friends, sorry you have lost someone so special.

Yep Kim...he was one of the good guys alright. First movie I ever saw him in was with Robert Redford in Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid. Saw that movie 13 times at the theaters way back when. Matter of fact, one of my all time favorite movie lines was uttered by Paul Newman in Butch Cassidy. When Butch and Sundance were being chased by a posse and they were on top of a hill looking down at their pursurers. Butch (Newman) said to Sundance (Redford) " Who are those guys?". Got a chuckle out of the line for some reason.

The world is a better place because of his presence.
