i think that was the best posting yet.
an overweight person can be healthy. I am no blood pressure problems or cholesterol problems.
if i lose weight since i have started watching what i eat the "YEAH ME".
My sister is skinny and she has had 3 kids. Her husband loves her for who she is and the guy I am seeing loves me for who I am . It is all about personal preferences.
Just remember when you feel like you have given up is the most likely time you will meet the right person. you never know maybe you already know tham and just haven't made the connection yet.
katz55: well said!
Reality is you need to accept yourself first before anyone else can accept you.
it's like I always say....
if you can't accept me as I am....you'll never accept me as you think I should be.
I am a big girl.......and weight isn't an issue becasue at my thinnest I am still around 200lbs, I have a large bone structure and dense muscle mass, but am proportionate. I am very healthy, I have no blood pressure problems, heart is fine circulation is fine, other than the aches & pains that come with aging I am in pretty good shape considering my weight. I do want to refocus on my health in the new year by refocusing my eating habits which a lot of us are guilty of straying from. If I lose weight in the process good for me, it will help my joints and give me more energy. But I don't complain about my size nor do I not care about it either.
But no matter your size; having pride in who you are as a person reflects in your outer self, personality and the friends you keep and the people who are attracted to you. And if they're only attracted to you for what you look like, how loyal are they going to be when age takes it's toll? If you cant have a conversation with someone 20 years down the road, what's the point?
