I am from Canada NB...just moved in a month ago..

My mother was telling me that they got over 15 inches of snow

u bet..snowed in for the first time this year and the bay is freezing up. Big lake has a coat of ice already.

yeh i was suprise when friday it just barely cover the ground here
and they canceled school...not use to that

They don't close schools here until the plows can't move or the snowsleds are buried

yeh i know..it would be snow up to the children knees
and they still had to go..

My youngest couldnt beleive there wasnt any school friday..

Gee I would move south if I could get out.

Heeeellloooo , Yep, I am here. I do browse through the forums now and again, just really busy with life here in Saskatchewan. Weather???? Weird.....+5 yesterday and +4 today. We do have some snow, but not alot. Just enough for snowmobiles, but barely and only those that are liquid cooled. Snow will be super sticky, perfect for a snowball war or making a snowman. My son is still riding his bike to school. The worst thing is that with this weather and the melt, when it does cool down, and it will, it will be icier than ????? and that means accidents, especially here in the city where people tend to drive too fast anyways...(I only drive faster than posted limits in the summer) Anyways, if my car gets hit, it damn well better be hit well enough to total it!
