And you think lawyers don't have hearts. The best lawyer story of all time...bar none:

The United Way realized that it had never received a donation from the city's most successful lawyer. So a United Way volunteer paid the lawyer a visit in his lavish office.

The volunteer opened the meeting by saying, 'Our research shows that even though your annual income is over two million dollars, you don't give a penny to charity. Wouldn't you like to give something back to your community through the United Way?'

The lawyer thinks for a minute and says, 'First, did your research also show you that my mother is dying after a long, painful illness and she has huge medical bills that are far beyond her ability to pay?'

Embarrassed, the United Way rep mumbles, 'Uh... no, I didn't know that.'

'Secondly,' says the lawyer, ' did it show that my broth er, a disabled veteran, is blind and confined to a wheelchair and is unable to support his wife and six children?

The stricken United Way rep begins to stammer an apology, but is cut off again.

'Thirdly, did your research also show you that my sister's husband died in dreadful car accident, leaving her penniless with a mortgage and three children, one of whom is disabled and another that has learning disabilities requiring an array of private tutors?'

The humiliated United Way rep, completely beaten, says, 'I'm so sorry, I had no idea.'

And the lawyer says, 'So... if I didn't give any money to them, what makes you think I'd give any to you?

A man goes to his doctor for his physical and gets sent to the Urologist as a precaution.
When he gets there, he discovers the urologist is a very pretty female doctor. The female
doctor says, 'I'm going to check your prostate today, but this new procedure is a little
different from what you are probably used to. I want you to lie on your right side, bend your
knees, then while I check your prostate, take a deep breath and say, 99.

The guy obeys and says, 99! The doctor says, 'Great. Now turn over on your left side and
again, while I repeat the check, take a deep breath and say, 99.'

Again, the guy says, '99.'

The doctor said, 'Very good. Now then, I want you to lie on your back with your knees raised
slightly. I'm going to check your prostate with this hand, and with the other hand I'm going to
hold on to your penis to keep it out of the way. Now take a deep breath and say, 99.'

The guy begins, slowly with 'One .. Two ... Three'......

"There has got to be some fun with getting older".

Jupp, we sure are boring!!

Don't listen to her at the moment....we are pretty well busy with our lives and other stuff too....but nope, we ain't boring by any means!

Some on here are not boring. They can give us some good storys, that make us laugh. The rest of us............. Yupp we're boring.

Mabey we are just to down to earth,I just started with the forums today I think I am going to have to try and liven the party up a bit in the next few days.

It's been up and down as far as interest and the number of people posting in the Canadian forums. I've been here for nearly a full two years and it was busy at one time.
Lately all of the forums have been a bit slow, and I do pop into all of them on the site. I'm a bit of a wanderer that way. They all have their good and bad, and lovely people in each.
The Aussie forums were dead for the longest time, until two women I know started posting regularly and dragging people in. One is still on the sit, but doesn't post as often, and the other was banned altogether.
I think the Canadian forums need a good shake up and some new people posting, as well as the old members. I know there are a lot of "lurkers" that read and never say a thing. Get your fingers out of your noses and start typing.

How cold is it in Canada..

going to be nice and sunny and warm today here

It's about -3 celcius here,I just went out and filled the outdoor wood stove with no shirt on.We've been pampered so far.No sun but very mild I keep thinking we're going to pay for it soon with a big storm
