Wind is blowing from the north today. that only mean one thing it's going to get colder than we had for a while. Once my chores are done outside. (Yes I am outside every day) Today is a good day to find something to do indoors.

Like sitting in front of this computor.

It is still -28 here - driving on square tires today laugh And jackets are making that loud crackling noise! Forgot, so am going to run and get some wood to take the edge off tonight. Have to dress warm and go through the Living Nativity and watch Phoenix sing....It will be cold, but so worth it heart wings

On a brighter note, the extended weather forecast says we will be warming up here in PA next week to above 0; as well as the North West part of the country, so ...be prepared for warm temps and storms!!! laugh

gemery: Sometimes we can't either! I think that is why lots and lots of babies are born in the fall in Canada...all that winter loving to keep warm! It does have it's benefits.

I lived in the Arctic for a year...and -60, -70 was not uncommon. Gotta love it or leave it!

-32 this morning. warmed up to -28, add the wind chill. Since I have livestock, I have to work outdoors a few hours every day. Just the eyes are exposed. I am glad the tractor with a heated cab. On days like today, the cattle like huddle out of the wind and appreciate the fresh straw put out for them to lay on.

applause Yayyy...it is only -23 here today; that means that when I stop somewhere for over an hour I don't have to keep starting the car or leave it running, nor do I have to drive very far before the temp raises! What a difference 7 degrees makes! It will make it just a bit easier for everyone...AND the sun in shining - gotta wear shades cool

hug Awwwe kiddo - it ain't that bad - really. And it is classically Canadian to complain about he weather, regardless of the season!!!laugh We whine and we bitch, yet we are known worldwide as kind and happy people...dunno go figure.

Loner1960 St. Alphonse, Manitoba Canada
I have to agree with the Kid, this is a typical Canadian tread, talking about the weather. Does anyone else notice, when it gets to -10/-15 at this time of the year, we pile on the layers of clothes to keep warm. But come Feb/March when it warms up to -10/-15, we strip the snowsuit and parkas and put on a lighter jacket, just to keep from overheating.
dunno
