eyesthatknowwhy: For sure - I understand the tool thing - but lets be honest - perhaps you purchase that which you all ready have but "must" improve upon for various reasons?
I really want (almost neeeeed) the Cuisinart mixer/blender/food processor everything!!! I have all three separate - think of the space I would save and the creations!! I found this store here, Nutters, that has the most incredible doodads - mortar and pestle, rasp, hand juicer...fabulous stuff. And a good knife...no words!!!
The bag ...hmmm, I compromised and bought a new wallet - better than my other one - matches my purse.... Maybe I can find a scarf with the right colours, that can "tie" it all together?
Yeah, some tools are like that, cordless drills especially, but in all fairness, new batteries for the old ones are almost as much money as replacing the drill itself with a new one. I bought myself a pair of 18 volt lithium ion Makita drills a year ago.

Adding a cordless reciprocating saw soon, as well as a spare battery.
Not sure what I'm going to do with the box of old drills, there must be 7 or 8 of them in there, along with a pile of dead batteries and chargers.
Why can't anyone build a decent toaster? The only good one I've ever had the pleasure of using was a Hobart commercial unit, and I can't afford to buy one. Getting tired of euthanising the cheap ones.
