bubblesron: My daughter (36yo) came out with a random one the other day.
After living here rent free for 6 weeks she decided to go back to Brisbane. 2 long text messages telling me what an A hole I am. Then a request for a letter to centrelink to support her claim for an emergency payment and asking for $50 gredit for her phone.

I often wont ake payment for camps if I can see the family is poor they sont often know till they emty the bag of thier child when they get home and they find the money with a letter, they are always very gratefull.


i some times although i dont really have extra cash to do it I still do it, I will go to the childrens ward and give gift vouchers because use to give toys, but I know I want them to go shopping because I know I always feel good with new clothes on.

Ralf74: I paid for a man's groceries one day but i can't remember if it was because he forgot his wallet or didnt have enough money? It was a while ago. I was starting to wish I didn't after he kept thanking me and waited for me to get out so he could thank me again and again, it was becoming humiliating.


I do a random act of kindness every day... but the only rule is I dont tell anyone about it or it does not count.. and I feel quite disappointed if I miss out .. its been such a long running habit .. almost 15 years now.. grin

And NO I am not going to tell you what sort of things I do.. you can figure it out for yourself.. as long as its a selfless (as opposed to Selfish) act its counts. If you get any benefit from it .. that does not count either! professor

I couple of years ago.. some guy I didn't know came up and gave me a rose... of course I am looking at him all suspicious thinking.. ok.. what do you want? uh oh laugh

I said.. what is that for? he said.. because your smile brightened my day .. and just walked away

I must admit.. I was still suss and I am looking around thinking.. is this a joke or something? laugh
