I really don't understand how they think, even with the use of quarantine measures, that they can keep the flu virus contained. I have a friend who works with infectious diseases in the CSIRO and she has to disrobe, rerobe in their special contamination suits, enter the sanitation chamber and be sanitised upon entry and exit of the room containing these viruses. She was suspected of contracting anthrax not so long ago but was cleared and even these measures cannot guarantee you will not contract it.
I was a parent helper at school today and i had that many kids breathing on me, half of them with the sniffles, I picked up tissues they had used and swine flu has been confirmed at the school. Upon leaving there, i have run errands down the street in half a dozen different stores and kissed my kids goodnight. The people I have had contact with today are all now at risk of contracting swine flu and compared to some people, i have not had much contact with other people over the day.
