Yes, what Kizzy said! And check over the profiles too, often the information doesn't match the picture or what they have mentioned. Do a bit of research into where they say they are from and ask questions to make sure it all adds up. Rely on you gut instinct, if it doesn't feel right, be wary.

Yes I totally agree with Ralfy & Kizzy. I have found also read what they write about themselves, generally when they write up their profile or a message to you it almost reads like it is in the third person , always they say they are GOD fearing, it is always like an application so much informaion & one other little thing I have found , they tend to cut & paste their profile onto their message to you, if you get an email add, straight away , thats to get you offline. Yes I have also found its amazing how many models are on here .

But as Ralf said just do your research mate, go with your gut instinct & be wary

what you dont realize John is they are building mailing lists with your yahoo account perhaps gleaning information from you in order to hack into your personal details online also identity theft is a real concern questions about your family background pets names etc can be a route to peice together a password.

and we musnt forget that they lost their parents in either a car accident or plane crash when they were young & they had to live with an uncle or auntie who had to move to Northern Africa, etc & now they are dead so I am alone with no one here .

There is also the usual Western union line to put money into, that the US embassy, etc wont help them. Another favourite is for example they are a cadet journalist with CNN and have surprisingly been sent to Nigeria as the senior journalist there & now they need money for the plane flight back because CNN cant help them.

On here also there is a section which is worth looking at regarding scammers, etc
