comfort If you have asked the potential partner if there is anything there and there isn't then maybe you shouldn't hold out. There is no point flogging a dead horse. Be honest to yourself with the information available to you and make the decision to either go for it and see if magic happens or call it quits and move on. hug Hope this helps. blues

Well if you are impatient, nothing gets you otices like an ankle tap as they walk past. To clinch the deal, as they roll over on their back to pick themselves up, Elbow drop to the solar plexus and sit astride their neck calling the count ... ONE TWO THREE!

Works on me.

Gotcha, so have you actually come out and asked bluntly, no sidestepping or sugar coating. Sounds like the love/friendship boundaries are being blurred. You NEED clarification. Tell him you need to know where you stand and if he is reserved from his past relationships tell him he either needs to move on or move out. You can't keep doing this to yourself, it has been way too long now, you are just torturing yourself. You don't need or deserve this and make sure he knows that. hug Don't be afraid to stand up coz if he really does care for you, it won't matter and he may be thankful that it has been brought up, otherwise he was never really there. Good luck Babe. kiss

Believe me ... with a broken sternum and pinned .... NO ONE is going to call you a fool.

Afterthought:
But I will admit it does cut down on the Bar-B-Que invites ... unless you like going to those WWF dos ... But everyone is shouting at those, "Ahhhhhm gonna pull the doors offa yo truck and drag you outa thayar and kick yo butt ..."

I LOVE Crumpet!

OH! Hang on ... not sure I want all the optional extras that go with this form of courting though. I am struggling through life without private health insurance.

And I really am a gentle soul.

Well... Now I have done it!!!

Nothing... No more phone calls... no more camping trips... no more dinners... no more - anything...

Just waiting to be noticed isn't always the best plan of action.
but then, once the moves have been made, and nothing happens. It's not that they are normally oblivious. Just not into it I guess.
Ah well.
Hopefully in your case things work out. I'm a sucker for a happy ending.
