kezza007: Hello Everyone.....
Here for some feedback on my oil consumption problem with my vehicle......
I brought my car from what i thought was a reputable dealer in Feb 2008, it's year of make is 2004, it had 33,000 on the clock and since July that year they have been doing an oil consumption test on my car. The car now only has 61.000 on the clock and it"s just over a year ago I brought the car. Every two months or less it is using from 500ml to 1.5lt being the most to date. .
They now tell me it is burning oil internally and the insurance only covers a $1.000 of it and they will put in $2.000 and i have to come up with $4.000 for them to put in a reconditioned motor in the car as they would not strip it down and find the problem could be more not worth it..
I paided 23.500.00 for this well 18,500.00 plus my trade in made the 23,500.00
I feel ripped off a year and four months later i have to come up with this money, specially seeing not an old car with lots of milage. I feel like going to the current affair shows and putting to them single parents pays good money for car and has to pay this out, in this amout of time after having car.
They come back at me that i broughta used car not a new car and it only had the three months used car warranty. I know this bit is so, but where is good will............
I have had different options as to just trading it in somewhere and put more to a new car.......... But this is my car i made it the way we like, nudge bar tinted windows etc........
I also am up for four new tyres (which i was excepting) about a $1.000
