JD, if you think that New Zealand is one big Femi-nazi plot, I am afraid you are mistaken. Unbalanced laws are being writ in every developed country due to the imbalance of the gender and age of people practicing (and therefore havig input to the writing) of those laws.

My Australian Teacher Girlfriend was shocked, disgusted and upset about the laws that were written in Oz that made her through her hopes to have a family with me a second class citizen.

We got over it ... we got too old to have children.

And girls, Any law (or cultural custom) that is enacted to marginalise you ex-partner, ex-husband or any man can also be used against your sons,your brothers and men whom you will take to your heart.

There is no "winner" in a law like that ... well, perhaps the un-resolved lesbian man hater that lobbies for it thinks she has a win ... But my little sister "bats for the other side" and I can asure you she would not like to see her brother treated unfairly in law.

There is no need to write things that assume all women are after all men's worldly wealth and want to melt down their bodies for cat food. That is absolutely NOT so. And pndering to that sort of thinking does what any lobbying Fem-nazi wants. It facilitates the media driven fictional "War Between the Sexes".
