For me it is both, i am egotistical, i'll admit it!! Sometimes i like to do things to prove to myself and others that i can and will do it. It is usually much bigger things than i would do out of the goodness of my heart. People know that i am a doer too, so I always get asked to do things, it is an everyday occurance for me.
