But you will always find those pundets who will say try try try again.

Listen to her voice very carefully does she sound like she is making her excuse on the spot and does she really sound interested in you. After this the ball is in your court. I can't really help or advise.

I have to say though if you have already text and emailed her suggesting you both catch up again and she hasn't responded directly... there is something not quite right.

Who knows maybe she has an ex who is still hanging around, maybe she enjoyed your company but not attracted to you intimately. Nothing worse than feeling left dangling - I suggest you phone her, have a chat and ask her out suggesting a day - see how she reacts when you do so. You could always be upfront and say hey, if you aren't into me I would rather you say so, no hard feelings.

I met a guy the other day, nice guy, but just wasn't that WOW factor of attraction on my side. We had agreed prior to meeting to both be honest, as hard as that can be, as neither wanted to be left wondering if.... So when he suggested we meet up again - I looked him straight in the eyes and said you are a great guy but just not into you that way but am sure the right one will show up. I found it hard to do that but he appreciated my honesty.

I really hope this lady is into you Venice - as we all deserve someone special - but don't take it too personally if she isn't the way you would like her to be - is just the way it goes sometimes and the right lucky lady will show up.

Babe don't orchestrate or plan too much just go with the flow. For her to say yes to lunch with you is a positive step - if she was not interested I really don't think she would go there, I know I wouldn't.

Just be yourself - you are a lovely guy - enjoy your time getting to know one another!

If you have doubts during the lunch that she is not really into you - to ease your mind - just be upfront and say hey can i ask a question and ask...if she is honest and sincere she will respond truthfully.

well it sounds like things are going well so far, venice. If I have learned anything from women it's to make sure you listen as much as possible to them. After a while, they may think wow, what a great listener. look for body language, the hair flick's always a good sign and good eye contact helps. She's probably going to be asnervous as you are, so just be yourself when you;re talking about you. I've told the most ridiculously embarassing stories about myself and usually get a good response as it breaks the tension. other than that, i;ve been single a while so anymore advice and people are going to start asking why that is.
