Ok my rant starts with this: why is it that when you finally get contacted and vice versa the conversations tend to dissappear after a whi,e then in a few days dissappear altogether, on msn, yahoo and on emails, people claim to be interested in meeting people but sometimes i gota wonder if thats even true, i mean if your not gona keep in contact with the person in question why even bother in the first place?

Its happend to me all too frequently not just on this site but on several different others as well. So whats everyone's take on this and how many times has it happend to you?frustrated

In my opinion if the contact stops, it's a matter of them not being interested, reasons vary.

The only thing you can do is move on and not dwell on it.

I realise this is probably hard to deal with, but you need to find a way or it will just continue to depress you.

Personally if i cease contact with a guy, it's because he bores me or comes on way to strong from the start. And Im not saying that's what you do, because I don't really know.


I love talking to people but if they hound me and expect my attention all the time, it's a turnoff and again these are my feelings only.

You can only keep your head up Arty maybe review your approach. Not sure Arty.

Hey Tina, i agree with what you said, normally i just move on and just not worry about it but its a little hard sometimes when you get repeated knockbacks but non the least i will keep marching forth, thanks for your advice and i will do just that.

on a more serious note, don't take matters to heart, you will eventually find some one who will keep up the convos.

at least you aren't getting IMs from an absolute nutter, i am help
