This is a question i have asked myself time and time again. At one time in my life i used to beleive that God existed,whent to church,prayed but eventually i started to question alot of things likke why do's God allow humanity...his children to suffer?, i have asked this question time and time again and came up with no answer. I don't beleive in God any more but i still have great respect for those who do and wouldn't dream in interfearing with their beleifs. Anyways whats every bodies take on this?

No in my opinion Arty there is no high almight god. However I do believe we go one somewhere.

Maybe maybe not just once wouldn't you love for someone to simply show you the evidence for God's existence? No arm-twisting. No statements. "You just have to believe." .

I couldn't agree more, i beleive that theres a place that we go and are somewhat but not quite sure what or where. I do on the other hand beleive in reincarnation and the immortality of the soul.

I second that...if someone showed me some real proof of his existance and not some writeing in some book/ bleeding statues and what not i will eat my hat

Religion will tell you that the suffering is the burden of the living and that the ones who have died have gone to a better place.

I am a non believer, more of a spiritualist........

Yes God does exist

It is a faith. There is a battle between heaven and hell. Satan blinds people and blocks there true destiny in what lifes all about.

Jesus speaks of Love and to live a life of Love. "Learning to love unselfishly is not an easy task. It runs counter to our self-centered nature. That's why we are given a liftetime to learn it".

God has a plan for everyone. People all ages suffer we don't know why? But God does.

Eg: You could have a bad accident. You will bum out and wonder why has God let this happen? Later on down the track something great will happen (like meeting a knock out lady that blows you away, and she likes you to) and it wouldn't of happened if you didn't have that accident.

Or maybe you needed a wake-up call

But what ever Gods reason, his "will" will bedone.

Satan doesn't want you to find "the Faith" and will do its best to stop everyone.

Maybe go back to church and just meet new people.

The Lord is talking to you and you can hear him, thats why your asking questions.

I look at the world we all dwell within, the beauty,the essence ,I feel how nature flows & see how individual we all are .I look to the universe & beyond then stand in awe at the complexities & intricate details of even the smallest living creature or thing.
I think about our feelings ,about fate & Karma.Life throws bad at us all but generally its always followed by good .
I believe we have destiny.
Do I think this is all just pot luck?....No
Do I think this is amazing?..... Yes
Do I have faith in a higher power ....Yes I do .

To me there is only one religion in the world, and that is to be joyous -- to have joy in everything that you do.

I do believe in a higher power, but not 'God' as such. Id probably lean more towards Mother Nature..no one messes with her! She always wins.

I used to go to sunday school, as a child, but as an adult, I find churchy type religions too contradictory....However, having said that, I LOVE a good discussion/debate (friendly) about religion...

In my opinion, its each to their own. There is no one god, as many different cultures have different beliefs etc.
As long as people dont try and force it down my throat, I say all the power to them for believing in something that makes them a better person...hopefully.

I also find it rather difficult to beleive that its the Devil that makes us do bad things.....im more inclined to think that people do bad things to others because they choose to do so. Another thing i don't get...if God has all this power then he sure is capable of ending all pain and suffering in this world...so why dosn't he?

If you ask me the only ones who can put an end to all the pain and suffering in the world is us,we are the only ones for whom we can look to to save ourselves. Anyways thats just my oppinion

I'm a science fantasy Geek. I like Make believe worlds. Dragons, Knights, damsels in distress.

Fantasy is better than reality.

So I like to believe we are someone else's dream. When times are bad whoevers dreaming us is having a Nightmare. When times are good someone is enjoying themselves. When we sleep they are up and about.

Whose to say that Dreamer isn't my God. And it gives me someone else to blame.

I also like the idea we are a science experience of another civilisation. Them watching us through some big Microscope.

But again this theory implies we are being overseen by someone.

Either way I wished they had a bigger sex drive. Then I might experience more sex.

Another theory that I encompass quite openly is the alternative realities.(Wrtten up in the "Mode Series - By Piers Anthony")That each reality is slightly different to the previous. Until you hit the exact opposite of where we are. At least with this theory, somewhere i am living the perfect life.

But I would surely be pissed off if i ever found out, that this was the reality where i was living that perfect life.
