I tend to go with what marsangel said. Have you heard of doubting Thomas? Basically Thomas wouldn't believe that Jesus was resurrected until he could see the nail marks on His hands and put his finger where the nails were. He only believed when he was able to see and touch Jesus. Jesus said to him, 'Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed' (John 20:26-29).

Everyone would believe in God if we could all see Him. But God is looking for faith. 'And without faith it is impossible to please Him' (Hebrews 11:6)

Your right that Satan doesn't make people do things. He can deceive us and seduce us into doing the wrong thing.

Adam & Eve's disobedience when they ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil brought sin into the world. Satan became the ruler of the world and the world was cursed with disease and every bad thing you can think of.

Sometimes I feel upset that God won't come down and make our problems go away. But He sent Jesus to die for us so we can be forgiven and have eternal life. Jesus said He is the only way to God so you either believe Him or you don't.

The Non believer would say that Doubt thomas was having a halucination. Drug use in the Middle east and African Nations was way higher than many of would actually believe, back in those times.
Doubting Thomas wanted to believe and wanted to see this phenomenon that everybody was talking about. That whilst under the influence his subconcious confinced him that this was the truth.
We have all seen how far a Drug addict will go in modern times.

Banishment from Eden didn't bring sin into the world. Banishment from Eden was to show Mankind and the lords Fellow consorts the consequences of disobeying the lords wish's. Now from here we could go into many variations of argument. But Sin was present before Banishment from Eden. Sin was present there in Heaven. Now i wish I could quote Book chapter and verse but i can't. My religious education was many moons ago. But satan was the alter ego of Lucifer who was staed to be the Lords Right hand man in heaven. But his jealousy of the Lord caused him to be banished from the heavens by the lord and his fellow consorts.

Now doesn't this beg to question there is but one god. For if the Lord is in heaven and has fellow angels, Wouldn't you think these angels would have similar powers.
And on that note Early man had many Gods. representing many areas of everyday life. Now wouldn't that make more sense in running something like this globe. Wouldn't it mean better management of resources with better human to god ratios. Meaning more prayers answered and more Non believers smited.
This vane of thought could run on getting more and more whimsical. but it is worth altering ones thought pattern slightly and contemplating this for a moment.
Remember a country run by one Person is said to be evil and undemocratic. Is that the same for a world run by One god???.

i think if someone looks at himself in the mirror, and see how his eyes blink, how his feet moves, how his hands stretch and fold, how his fingers run over the key on keyboard, how his brain function, how his heart function, the hearing, and how the senses distinguish different sounds and voices, how the nails grow without fertilizers or watering, how the hairs grow and pluck out, how human beings, animals and plants grow etc, you will obviously beleive that this things cant be natural, there must be some unnatural force that do the work, and that is "God the Almighty". more proofs later.

if you can, read the books written by Michael Newton PH.D. titled "Destiny Of Souls" makes interesting reading, and also makes sense as to what and why we are here. For those who can't find it, it is basically that we are all souls in the body here to learn some thing of life. It could be how to deal with loss of a loved one (which could be the a friend of the soul who is to learn loss can be the one that causes the loss to happen). It's all a bit hard to explain, here, but if you can find the books some where then beg borrow or steal them, lol

When you see a building, was there not a builder? When you see a painting, was there not a painter? When you think of the universe, there must have been a creator. You cannot determine the existence of God through any scientific method, just like one other mentioned. How can you measure love or jealousy?

I certainly don't have all of the answers to your questions, but I can try to help out with a few. Suffering exists because evil is in the heart of man. God gave us the ability to choose either good or evil, and since Adam and Eve sinned, the heart of man has been corrupted ever since; hence, evil and evil things exist on the earth. Certainly, God can destroy all evil, but if He did that, then all of us would be wiped from existence. He does not want to do that because He loves us. Certainly all bad things could have been eliminated if He took away our ability to choose. What good would have come from that? Would you want to live in a world without choice?

As for the drug argument, neither of us can prove or disprove this statement. I offer you the following statement in return. Many great miracles were seen during and after the time Jesus was around with many more miracles happening today. If, for example, the people who saw Jesus resurrected were taking drugs and hallucinating, then how often do people who are hallucinating see and hear the exact same things at the exact same time?

Well i'm a non believer in God, but i believe in gardian angels etc..

I had some religous people come to my door oneday(which i dont like) and they asked me why i didn't believe in God, Heavan, hell..etc.. and i said " What can be more horrid than watching your son, daughter, mother, etc.. being burnt alive, or raped or killed in other ways, wat could be worse than countries at war killing each other over Land, money, political jargan..etc.. there is no hell or heavan, we live in hell, and after we die it's peaceful(which most name heavan)' There are sooo many horrible things that happen in everyones lives, too many to write, this is just my perception and i respect those that do believe, it's a choice we have

Tell ya there is a god look at the human body and there is no batteries to run us, the list goes on and I must say he does speak to you , I have had plenty of God showing me a direction and when you open the bible he cn speak to you through there also, it's lenthy...

Actually i have to dissagree with that, in each and every cell in the whole,weither it be plant/animal or human...each cell has has mitacondrions..the power houses of each and every ceel in the whole for whenre chemical reactions take place with the aid of catalysts and enzymes to creat ATP (Adenezin triphosphates), the energy needed to run each and every cell in the body.

Heres another question: If God exists then can you also realy say that all the other religions and their gods don't exist? One fine example is that of the greek religion and the panthanon of gods they have. The world according to Greek mythology was created many thousands of years ago, there was a war that broke out between the Gods of Olympus and the Titans for which shaped the very world for which we live on today. Can we say that one exists and not the other?, i dont think we can without carfull consideration...even so there are some religions and beleifs in the world that are much older then that of the Bible.
