Also remember the similarities between those early Ruling eras. The Norse the Greeks and the Romans. And the similarities between there gods.

Does this not imply something. Does this not give some credence to something.

Or is it, no matter where you go the ruling chieftains and retainers all think alike.

Its a good question how can you blindly say one exists but the earlier ones didn't. Remember God as we know him didn't exist before the Romans. Hence all the Roman Deities.

In modern times the depictions of zeuss and thor are very similar. I wonder whether they were depicted similarly way back then. Remember ones a norse god and the other is a greek god.

Heres another question: If God exists then can you also realy say that all the other religions and their gods don't exist? One fine example is that of the greek religion and the panthanon of gods they have. The world according to Greek mythology was created many thousands of years ago, there was a war that broke out between the Gods of Olympus and the Titans for which shaped the very world for which we live on today. The Greek panthanon of gods includes:

The Titans:

Cronos,father of the gods

Typhoon
Atlas
Gaia
Promethius
UranusThe gods

Rahea,mother of the gods

The three brother gods are:

Zeus, the father of Olympus
Posiden,ruler of the seas
Hades, lord of the underworld

Sister gods

Hera, mother goddess and wife of Zeus
Demeter, Goddess of harvest

Other Gods/ children:

Athena,Goddess of inguneuity.
Aries,God of war
Helios,God of the sun
Aphrodite,Goddess of love
Appolo,patron of the arts
Artemis,Goddess of the hunt
Just to name a few.

Can we say that one exists and not the other?, i dont think we can without carfull consideration...even so there are some religions and beleifs in the world that are much older then that of the Bible.

Easy...there are only three true religions if you have studied religion at all...judaism...christianity and islam...the rest are not classed as true religions if you have studied you would realise that..they are mythology which is a totally different thread.

To have an opinion about religions is to study history in its foremost.
I have studied since the age of 14...just spent three years in the middle east studying at a totallly muslim university and now know the Qu'ran one third by heart.

Not blowing my trumpet, the point i am making is most people that comment are so limited in education. The western world is the most limited I am come across in my lifespan of travelling the world. Most people 'goolge' their information and are blantantly confinced of its authenticy...God help those that just look in a book or google their repsonses..as a doctor I am the last person to explore the world beyond science...for those that don't...get a fucking life!!!! and travel!!!You may learn something other than your home town gossip!!!!

True i never have studied religion...well not to the point of Judism, christianity or Islamic but i am well versed in Greek mythology and that in the past it was a religion and not mythology. True it is mythology now where the three religions you spoke of are true religions, in a different time the Greeks may of said the same thing about those three religions being naught but myth. Who's to say that those three religions are in fact true religions at all?, this is but one or many peoples oppinions for which are in turn open to error, same go's for those who beleive in the old ways of the Greeks and the like.peace

Well as a doctor I will tell you not only religion but SCIENCE has proved them otherwise...sorry to burst your bubble..
We al know the specifics of the sun planets and other universal factors...back then people were not aware of science and its facts...remember they actually threw virgins in pits to save the fucking world...shit why bother!!!! yes not all science is proven without a doubt but some have...sorry but you can believe what you like..it is a free country after all

Relgion is spelt Religion

I don't see what philosophy has to do with what I posted. The three I mentioned are religious beliefs, not philosophical views.

It's not only men who swear. May I remind you of;

Yes I am one of those people. Although I have travelled and read. But those earlier religions are fact not fiction. Those people at that period of time believed ultimately in their gods. How does this not make you the same.
Who is to say that in a thousand years the world is not practicing scientolgy as the one true religion. conversing
