Well, I actually own a haunted house. The house is 80 years old and I am only the third owner of the current dwelling. The last owner's husband died in the same room I have the PC & spare bed set up and by all accounts he was a stern disciplinarian type. During my first year here pretty well everyone that came here would often see a man in his 60's looking rather peeved staring into the various rooms of the house before disappearing . When one of the last owners kids stopped by to collect mail I mentioned the ghost to them and he straight away reached into his wallet & pulled out a picture of his deceased father . The picture is the same as the ghost that walks this house so I know who he is . I'm oddly used to it and ignore it now so he rarely pops up when I'm here by myself but when I have people over I get people asking about the old guy in the red flanny sticky beeking into the rooms . Has also been know to shake the house as well(I have 30cm thick stone walls so it's not the wind) but otherwise it's nothing . Because there has been a house on this spot for about 200 years people have also seen a girl about 8 or so dressed up like you see in American Civil War movies(1860's) but as I've only ever seen her twice for a few seconds each time I have no information on who she is or what her connection to this place is but for others she has stayed visible for minutes at a time.Odd , yes but after living here for a while you just get used to it
