Whats the point to this site and others like it, all that happens here is you get ignored or accused of playign games when if your like me all ylu joined for was to meet people and perhaps find a special someone, i find it hard to beleive that people of my age group in particular would be so shallow as to play silly games on here or anywhere else

You need to be able to take the good with the bad, it's a big site so you are going to get a variety of people including the whacko's.

I tend not to think that everyone I talk to is my next partner, rather I like to think I have made a new friend. After all doesnt all good relationships start out with a friendship.

Just have fun, don't let the bad people get in the way of enjoying yourself.

Not everyone on the site is a bad person. I have made some wonderful friends. Jump into the forums have some fun while getting to know people.

I find it difficult as well i come and look at the forums and its the same 5 or 6 people all the time with the same old things, not to say i could think of anything better. I prefer to talk one one one that in groups on here and in real life. So even a syber pen pal via emails or chat would be nice

I put it out there through sending those flowers to women who's profile interest me somewhat and have had no responses.

I am feeling very disheartened with it all. I don't drink so i can't meet women at pubs or clubs, i'm not religous so church is out and i am new to this so whats the go with it, really.

Its nice to read a bit about someone & feel its not just all the same ol same ol , you gotta stand out or well youll be overlooked
your attributes & conficence have to shine thru in a few short paragraphs , so get creative , do sum soul searchin but most of all keep it real .

Hi Rodles, well I am new here too, if you dont like that its the same 5 or 6 people on the forums - make it 7 join in, same old thing - well say something different. If you read the forums you will see some talk one on one during the forums. I am an a couple of sites and posting in the forums always increases mail and you have a laugh.

I agree with jumpimg in the forums.your be amazed as to what females/males say in their profiles and what they say in forums, totally different people, (1) is to impress, to catch the passing male/female to you, and (2) is to speak ya mind, and who cares whether its what people like or not...
hone your skills, agreed with this one as well, you get good at who plays games, and who has the ego's with all thier emails, both parties can be picky if they ever want to reply to you..
better you find out now in your interests when emailing them, if they dont reply, flick them off, they have no manners!!!
but your have fum looking....you do meet some friends from this site and other sites tho, ands thats plus....

Don't take it so seriously I guess be yourself but don't compromise your values and who you are just to be accepted or to fit in with the 'in crowd' or to please others. Try to enjoy yourself and don't 'expect' to find your soul mate here if that's what your looking for. Cos you may just be disappointed If it happens, its a bonus, if not .. think of it this way.. you can still have a laugh at the numerous comments 'clowns' who can give you a chuckle sometimes

If you are expecting to find your true LUUUurv sitting behind a computer keyboard you are to niave to be let out alone. We can all be whoever we want here and most likely are. No one is going to get to check out what really counts unless we let them meet us in person .... so just have fun. and if someone offends you ... offend them right back. You can grow a really yhick skin on here ... or you can put your soul out and hand someone a hammer to shatter it with. But in the end the choice is yours.

If you want my advice, and you're going to get it anyway, hit the forums. At least you MAY find people who are compatible with your thoughts and beliefs. Just don't be too disapointed when curvy turns out to be HUGE and a few extra pounds turns out to be Dump Truck.
