well its official my love life is in shambles i got back from iraq after a 6 month deployment to find my missus cheating on me with a freind of mine i thought that she was the one for me but obviously she aint i feel that i can date again now after about 5 months is it me or am i looking for love in the wrong places

Mate, from another vet of another war, there have always been dear john letters, i suppose be thankfull you did not find out while you were there, the distraction may have gotten you killed. You have my very real sympathy, it never happened to me, but to some of my mates and to veterans in all conflicts always. Chin Up mate and thank you and well done for serving and be aware that there are thousands of vets out there who love you no matter what mate.

hard to deal with i know, but the only thing you can do, move on and dont look back, just be happy your still alive and that you have saved alot of time, it could have taken you 10 yrs to realise she was no-good..
