I have to admit it is a mental barrier for me. I am not sure why I feel it is an issue but I really don't want anyone younger than myself or over 10 yrs older. I think it is the generation thing. All I know is that I have been a different person myself from decade to decade with different stages and experiences in life. I wouldn't judge anyone else for it though, it's just not for me.

well I believe age doesn.t matter, as I was in this scenario, a ten years difference. you having extra expeterience of life as long as you have learnt from it. unfortunately a lot of older adults haven,t learn,t much at all, if you have and he wishes to listen to the experiences you have learnt from then a great start, the fact that children aren,t involved in the Scene will make it so much easier.

Next big question I would ask you is.

1: are you a OLD 46 year old, ???? or 46 years young, and is he 34 years young or old.

2: are you still learning as a adult, or are you frightened of the apparent big 50.

If you are worried about big 50, then I don,t believe a younger man will help you especially if he answers OLD to question number 1.

what you say about Europe ie finding it ok that an older man going out/ having a relationship with a younger woman is true, it is quite common and easily accepted - by men.
but what is difficult here is when the woman is older and has a relationship with a younger man (I did ) ; then most people wonder what has "gone wrong" and why is this man with a woman 10 years older ? (both men and women wonder - maybe not in the uk or northern europe, but in France and southern europe , yesn they do!)
From my experience , men here think it natural that they should be attracted to younger women, but can't see why a woman their age - say 45- or "slightly" younger should not be atrracted to a man aged 48 , 50- or older.
true personality is important, but for god's sake, it is not all - and big fat bellied men I can't find attractive ! therefore I can love as people for their wonderful personality , but cannot go to bed with them !

Now, as for being someone's slave , I would nover consider that , whether the man is olderor younger !
I guess what we want is be someone's sweetheart full stop.
