Well I sorta dont agree really I mean an ugly personality is one thing but youve got to admit our society does throw beauty in our faces daily we can all look at people & say to ourselves gee their attractive or ummm been hit with the fugly stick ,I know its not right but comon its true ,we all know the difference, but in saying that their are men out there as well as women who are not overly attractive & who are really nice genuine people ,the same as you lonely & looking for love .I think your biggest hurdle is your pregnancy.Have your baby experiance unconditional love then date .


Personally & I am being totally honest with you I wouldnt date a 30 stone 4'9 bald hunchbacked man even if he was the nicest guy on earth ...why? because there would be no attraction on my part , whoever is saying that looks dont matter at all are kidding themselves

Years ago when single, i met a few girls who at first sight i didnt find very attractive at all. After getting to know some them on a personality level they suddenly became rather attractive in my eyes. Anyone shallow enough to dismiss someone at first sight is obviouslly very shallow.

The real "ugly" people are those that say the right thing because it is the right thing to say. Those that don't have enough spine to say what they are really thinking. Those that would sell their integrity for social acceptance.

Those that pat you on the back and give you the big thumbs up while at the same time thinking... "Who the fark is going to believe that"... are just as ugly.

I doubt that you could honestly say that you've NEVER rejected an advance solely on a person's looks.

I may be harsh at times, but at least I say things as I really see them... and people know exactly where they stand with me.

I said I can always find something attractive about a person, I did not say anything about dating them!!!! I was talking about women as well as men. The hunchback mentioned earlier might have the most beautiful eyes ever seen, and some chick with an eye fetish might go for him in a heartbeat. And no, I haven't rejected anyone based soley on looks. To be honest I've never been approached by anyone I found to be totally ugly. I have not dated a "total hottie" since I was 16.

And saying things the way you see them is not in the slightest bit impressive when the way you see them is totally skewed. You are completely wrong about me. I do tell it as I see it. I did tell it as I saw it. You made a judgemental assumption based on circumstantial evidence and patted yourself on the back for saying it as you saw it. I merely pointed out that there was a possibility that you might have been wrong. Then you started making assumptions about me. Once again false assumptions.

Don't try so hard! You need to like yourself. Be yourself. It doesn't matter what you look like. It's how you feel about yourself that attracts them. If you are happy and laughing and friendly, you won't be able to keep them away from you. Trust me. I have tried it.

Nice of you to clarify this. The whole thread is about dating, and now you want to remove your statement from the dating context. If it's got nothing to do with dating, then why say it at all? I could just as easily say that I could find something attractive about a half decomposed body if I looked hard enough... but there's no way in hell that I would ever date it! Saying that you can always find something attractive about a person out of the context of the thread is nothing more than rhetorical garbage.




By this you not only acknowledge that there are, in fact, ugly people... but also that there are totally ugly people.

Yes, there is always the possibility that the guys who received her pic were so mesmerized by her astonishing beauty that they were rendered speechless... and that's why they haven't got back to her yet.


The reality is that if this happened to her on one occasion, then there may be any number of reasons for the guy not getting back to her. But when it happens on more than one occasion... you have to draw the conclusion that there is something seriously wrong with her picture.

there are some people that dont like to make another feel bad about themselves and others that couldnt give a damn about how many ppl they trod on..... straight shooting nasty comments are damaging regardless.
