well im a woman & Im single + I know what I want & deserve,... I dont think there is a man shortage howeva But i do think there is a man who really knows what he wants shortage...ofcourse ive heard the same bout woman soo who knows deebrown maybe start a poll on here something like who on here want A) to meet 1 partner & be a couple ...or B} have sex with as many people that you can before you get past it ...

soooooooo with that little bit of info that should pretty much tell you that there are quite a few single people out there!! and lucky for you guys.. there should be more single females then males.

Btw.. this does not include statistics for defacto relationships .. so that means there could be even more singles our there

yeah seems like more single women than men it is.

I know there are more single women than men but two things spring to mind.

1. Active participation. How many of each are actually looking for someone else?

2. Location. I have spent most of my life in the north-west of W.A. with a lot of mining towns, fishing etc. where there is often a wide difference in sex ratios with the exception of Derby where single women outnumber single men markedly. This is because Derby services a wide area of pastoral lands and most employees are govt workers who go there for short 1-2 year stints and are married with the exception of the hospital which has a large number of itinerant nurses mostly female and mostly single.

Wow lone dads are under 3%!! Knew I was a rare breed well at least until Tuesday when my youngest turns 15 then I 'spose I go back to being common huh?

The next question that springs to mind is age category.

Assuming you are particular about age. The fussier you are the harder it is you know.
